The photos below were made on July 10th 2005 when two WW-II bombers - a B17 and a B24 - visited Loveland, Colorado.
Only the B17 is shown because that is the kind bomber that Uncle Bob flew. The
first and second photos below show me in an eerie reprise of that moment
more than 60 years in the past when Bob and his crew were photographed in front of their own
B17, England 1944 - perhaps the very day of the
mission on which he was killed.
